Kia ora, I am Mirte Verkooijen. I am originally from the Netherlands, where I graduated in 2011 and I completed my GP training in 2017.
In 2017 my family and I moved to New Zealand and in 2020 we made Taupō our home.
I love to work as a doctor for Anamata and be part of such a lovely, well organised organisation. Anamata has a great team of people who all care about the health of  mainly the young people in our community.
In my spare time I love to be outdoors and travel around with my family exploring this beautiful country.
