Hey! I’m Nicola, and I’m the Clinical Services Manager here at Anamata.
You’ll spot me around the Anamata clinic or visiting local colleges, so feel free to say hi! My background is in Emergency Nursing — and now I bring that experience to support our community.
I love having kōrero with rangatahi and anyone who comes through our doors. I always take time to really listen, understand what matters to you, and offer support, info, and top-quality care to help you feel confident and informed.

I’m passionate about my job and working at Anamata because it allows me to contribute to the health and wellbeing of our community. I believe in the lasting impact we create by empowering rangatahi with knowledge, resources, and opportunities to thrive, while also supporting and educating the wider community to build healthier practices and feel confident in their own knowledge and choices.
Outside of work, I enjoy Reformer Pilates, long walks along the lake, and weekends away catching up with mates.

As part of the Wellbeing Team I feel privileged to support the diverse rangatahi of Taupo. Helping them navigate this time of self discovery and develop skills for both today and in the future with so many opportunities is really important and I find it incredibly rewarding.

Tori
She/Her
Youth Practitioner
I have always had a passion for working with young people. Since becoming a youth worker, I’ve continued to foster this passion by supporting young people in our community and pursuing a degree in counselling.
In my role as a youth worker, I walk alongside young people to support, mentor, and be a genuine, empathetic listener as they navigate the challenges of teenage years and early adulthood.
Outside of work, I enjoy coaching, training, and competing in CrossFit, going on daily walks with my dogs, and spending time with friends and family.

She/Her
Admin
I’m the first face you’ll see at Anamata, working at reception. I love being able to welcome people in, make them feel comfortable, and support them as they access the care and services they need. Every day is different — I get to connect with a wide range of people and be part of a team that genuinely cares about our community.
Outside of work, I enjoy tiki touring around our beautiful country to see friends, traveling in either our motorhome or vintage hot-rod.

Tina
She/Her
Operations & Finance Manager
I joined Anamata to give back to our local community in Taupō and Tūrangi. As an accountant, I want to build my experience in areas such as government funding, donations, and charitable organisations. I also enjoy challenging myself by learning about other parts of a business — like human resources, operations, and health and safety — not just accounting and finance.

Ross
He/Him
Chief Executive
As the Chief Executive at Anamata, it is my responsibility to lead the strategic direction of the organisation to ensure we are best serving our community and achieving the best possible outcomes for our local rangatahi.
I am particularly passionate about working in health and with young people because I believe early support and intervention can have a lifelong impact. Helping rangatahi to access the right care, feel supported, and build resilience not only improves their wellbeing today but also strengthens the future of our community.
In my spare time, I enjoy nothing more than being outdoors and exploring our beautiful district. I also volunteer for several local community organisations and serve on the board of the Taupo Business Chamber.

YOSS Networks
Anamata is one of 10 Youth One Stop Shops (YOSS) across Aotearoa.
Youth One Stop Shops (YOSS) across Aotearoa share a common goal: to enhance the health, development, and wellbeing of young people by offering free, confidential support — all in one place.
Each YOSS is designed to be a service that walks alongside rangatahi right through to the age of 24 — much longer than just their time at high school — providing consistent care and connection as they grow and navigate life’s changes.
While YOSS collectively share this vision, each YOSS reflects the unique needs, strengths, and aspirations of the local community they serve.
